Lingering Echoes follows three siblings preparing for a night out. As they apply makeup and drink together, their conversation moves towards their family and the conflicts that continue to affect their relationships.

The figures are filmed as silhouettes and presented in an installation designed to make them appear physically present in the darkened space. The viewer enters the position of an unexpected witness, close to the siblings but excluded from their shared history. The work examines the temporary alliances formed between siblings and what happens when an intimate family conversation is placed on public view.
