They Call It a One Brief Transition is a collaboration between fashion designer Henna Lampinen and filmmaker Rosaliina Paavilainen. The film follows models wearing Lampinen’s 2020 collection through a historic mansion being closed for the winter.

The building is more than a backdrop. Covered furniture, empty rooms, controlled movement, and blue-toned light create a setting suspended between occupation and absence. Rather than presenting the garments through a conventional fashion narrative, the film treats clothing, bodies, and architecture as parts of the same carefully constructed environment.

The video has been exhibited at the Design Museum, the Craft Museum of Finland, and the Ostrobothnian Museum.
