For Full Audience follows an amateur theatre group rehearsing a new production in a small rural town. The film observes the work through preparation, repetition, disagreement, humour, and the practical problems involved in bringing a performance to the stage.

The participants are united by the desire to perform, but their different ambitions and expectations continually reshape the group. The film pays particular attention to the desire to be seen and taken seriously, both within the group and by the audience the performers hope to reach. Through this small theatre community, the documentary examines what collective artistic work can offer in a place where cultural resources are limited: recognition, belonging, and a temporary space outside everyday routines.

The film was screened at Doclisboa – International Film Festival (2023).
