Täysille katsomoille (For Full Audience)

2020, short documentary
12:53, HD video, sound

Trailer

For Full Audience follows an amateur theatre group in a small rural town as they rehearse a new production directed by Rosaliina Paavilainen. Paavilainen appears in the documentary leading the rehearsals, making the film from within the process. It moves through rehearsals, disagreements, humour, and the practical problems of getting a performance on stage.

The participants share a desire to perform, but their different ambitions keep reshaping the group. What they have in common is a need to be seen and taken seriously, by one another and by the audience they hope to reach.
